Since hunting season is here (and I`m in a darn good mood :D), I`ve decided to have a giveaway! The rules are simple, post your favorite hunting picture. The judges will be my two son in laws, Mark and Dave, and my possible third son in law, Jeff. (Aly has been going out with him for over a year, so I`ve been expecting an announcement). These guys hunt all the time, so I figured they would be good judges.

Here is the prize. It`s 5" oal with a 2 1/4" blade, of 3/16" thick O1. I did laminated micarta handles on it for fun. It will come with a simple leather pocket sheath.

Here is the handle. Maroon, white spacer, black. This one is 3/16" thick because I had a bar end leftover.

In hand shot, it`s a 3 finger grip.

The contest will run untill midnight October 31st, and you can post as often as you want, but, only once per day!

I knew there had to be a reason that my dog woke me up so darn early.

This was upon hiking out of our campsite (~2 miles) from grouse hunting last weekend. Woke up on sunday to this snow as you can see, a bit surprised.

Sweet knife - I wish I was a hunter so I could enter :)

I do fish ;) (just kidding, of course - don't take this as an entry)

This is kind of post hunting, but it is one of my favorites!

...but the deer kept sticking its tongue out for every picture.

Wow, John - very generous of you! What a cool contest.

I don't have any pictures to throw into the mix, as I'm more of an angler. But good luck to everyone, and kudos to John for the awesome giveaway. Here's hoping it goes to someone who hasn't had the pleasure of owning a JK knife before.

All the best,

- Mike

This is my Little Brother's Monster Buck from last deer season

Thanks for the contest

Somewhat grotesque. First critter I killed with a 17 hmr, devastating results obviously. Short buck nighthawk wrapped in orange tape. My current squirrel skinner until I get the custom knife from stomper. He also had a nut in his mouth til rigor mortis set in, so it looks like hes doing this:  lol

And my favorite squirrel skinning knife. Sure would love to trade it for that great little giveaway knife!!!

Not my picture, but I like it because it symbolizes going back to basics, to a tool that has worked for a very long time :D

This is one of me taken in Spring 08 hunting Turkey. Didn't have much luck, but it was a lot of fun and great to be outdoors.

My gun is a Beretta AL391 Urika 20GA
