JK Handmade Knives Knife Giveaway Contest

Even pics of your hunting guns and gear are fine!

Sweet, here's a few of my hunting guns.
We'll start with my Savage model 12 in 22.250 This is my favorite varmint gun. I use it for everything from groudhogs and ground squirrels to coyotes. I spray painted it to fit in with the fall colors of the catoctin range (favorite coyote calling spot).

Here's my AR-15. I use it mainly for coyote calling at close range, inside 200yards. A semi auto is great when you get two dogs coming in at once.

This is my deer rifle, a Remington VTR in .308 that sits in a B/C medalist stock.

Well, this one is reaching way back into my teenage years. The guy in the mustache was my outdoor mentor and martial arts instructor. He was really a father figure to me and was the first guy who really showed me the outdoors. This was my first hunting trip. I believe we managed to bag a few spruce grouse during the day.

I really enjoy this photo. Didn't get anything this trip. But I just like the colors and the composition. Gives you an idea of the thick inhospitable, steep terrain that we have to face. I'm planning which way to go in this photo. Every way in 360 degrees required bushwacking through stomach/chest/overheard high uluhe fern (not fun). Thank god for machetes.

Thanks for the chance, We actually took this picture today on our deer hunt in Northern California. I wish i could give you a kill shot but sadly there were no shots.

Please don't enter this for the comp as it's not really a hunting pic, it just makes me smile though because I always imagine a speach bubble from Maisy saying " Are ya sure it's dead ???":D

Thanks for the opportunity, I have admired your knives for a long time but I just can't swing one these days.

This is my dad's dog, Dixie, flushing a quail on a hunting trip he and I went on earlier this year. It was her first time out, and she did an outstanding job. We had a great time and came home with a vest full of birds thanks to her.

If quail ever figure out to fly up instead of away, we're all in trouble. I'm not sure why this one looks like it is upside down but I'd bet it had something to do with the defensive maneuvers it was taking  .

Thanks again!

Alright I'll try again to prove I can actually get something!

This was taken March 2008. The guy with the dog is my father and the other man is a friend of my dad's. It was a great day to pheasant hunt and a lot of fun.
My dad has an old Parker Bros 16GA and again I use my Beretta 20GA AL391 Urika

I think you tossed that bird.:D

Haha, yeah, I get that alot with that picture :D . By the end of the day dad wasn't shooting his gun anymore, he was consumed with getting a picture like this. Finally paid off for him at the end of the day.
