JK Knives 3000th Post Giveaway Contest

For my 3000th post I am holding a contest for the best fishing picture. It can be a fish you caught, your fishing camp, or a picture of your fishing gear. The contest will run untill midnight CST on Friday the 13th. My daughters will be the judges. Here is the prize. It`s 6" overall, 2 3/8" cutting edge, 1/8" thick
O1, with tiger stripe maple handles. It will come with a kydex belt sheath.

Unfortunately I suck at fishing but here is an old pic of Pit Jr after landing this one with the help of his grandad. I think it's a Perch but will confirm this with Pit Jr when I see him later !

Okay - Here is the FIRST fishing trip my 2 and 4 year old (3 and 5 now) ever went on.

We went to a launch in Michigan (we go home every year for a month) and simply drowned a worm or two.

Here is Maxwell and Grandpa catching his first fish.

Here is Lambert catching his first... he is not as interested. We also had a BB gun there - and he wanted to shoot at the Lilypads.

I caught a MONSTER that day. Don't be fooled because the fish is close to the camera and I am in the background. That think fought like a BEAST!

I post the hell out of this one....But what the hell - here is my pretty wife again!

Composition is piss poor on this one, but there is something dynamic about it. Buddy taking a cast into the Detroit River. Gotta love the flannel eh?

The best way to take a good shot of me is to avoid including my face in the shot. One day Tafulchre will learn this secret You'll notice that this pike exacted its revenge on my finger already!

a macroshot trio of some of my tiny fishing flies, 5 - 8mm long. I did'nt tie these though, i have a hard enough time with 3/4" arborist rope let alone tying thread on fishing flies...hahaha
