Got these bad boys today. Initially I am very impressed. I will put em through some work, and have my review up tommarow.

Hey just so you guys know. I am at Marty's school from Aug 10th through the 18th so if my turn comes up before I am back, skip me and I will try get em at the end if thats ok w/ the rest of you guys.

Ok boys I had some time with the EDC. Its a solid little knife. It worked flawlessly for slicing, and the tip is a great penetrator. I love the brown micarta, It looks awesome. This has a great weight to it, and is a pleasure to use. I will be doing some comparison shots, and some work with the HB tommarow. Heres a few pics to get me started..........

Don't wipe the blade down, lets see what kind of patina oranges leave!

Nice pics J!

Well guys here it is. I have to say I hated the clip point HB when I first saw it, but it has really grown on e. It was a pleasure to use, and handled splitting fatwood with ease. I also used it to spark my ferro rod to light some jute. It threw a mean shower. These are awesome blades. Super simple no frills workhorses.

My favorite was the EDC bushcrafter. The 3in spear point was awesome!! The HB is great too. An indespensable piece of kit. I think If all you had was one of his HBs, you could do alot worse. Its that handy.

Heres some more pics.........

His leatherwork is great too. I added a leather cord to the necker sheath, so enjoy!

I think John is a great knifemaker. One of my favorites. I love dealing with him, and am happy to call him a friend.
