I would like to say a few final words on my behalf. If Hillbillenigma had a problem with me he should have come to me with it. Then, if and I mean if I had told him to kiss my ass, he should have gone to the forum moderator and worked his way up the chain of command to resolve it but he had no right involving C4. Had he not and C4 stayed out of it he(C4)and I would have had no problem. I got way to many e-mail's from both of them questioning my way of doing business. If I am wrong, I will gladly back out of Blade Forums and not come back. I have sold more than dozen kinves here so far, and had no problems yet with a knife I sold, only this problem with a knife I didn't sell, to Hillbillenigma/C4. If any of the knives I have sold have a problem that I caused, I will fix said problem, period! Being in business for myself for over 20+years I have learned, NO DEAL IS EVER OVER UNTIL PRODUCT AND MONEY HAVE CHANGED HANDS PROPERLY, with both parties happy! That said, Hilbilenigma ask me an e-mail question about the knife and I answered it he then e-mailed me that he wanted the knife, I NEVER TOLD HIM THE KNIFE WAS HIS, because in the meantime the knife "sold" to someone else, but no money had changed hands. Then C4 asked me an e-mail question about the knife, not price, not if it were sold. I answered it, just in case, I have had that happen to me many times over the years in busuiness and then sold the product to another. That is just business. After I answered it, had he replied that he wanted the knife. I would have told him that he would have to wait to see if the first two prospective purchasers(the "nameless" purchaser then Hillbillenigma) fell thru. I never got a chance to tell Hillbillenigma the knife was sold because all the rest of the e-mails after this between the 3 of us were them against me telling me what a bad boy I was on Blade Forums as if they were in charge of policing the forums and my business here, since I was new. That is when I called them "girls" and "children" because I was tired of defending myself for doing nothing wrong. Then came their ugly forum postings about me and where people could get knives like mine much cheaper. Even with all this, I am still sorry if I hurt their pride/feelings, but they did hurt mine first. I should have let it go, that is my fault. If I could see them, I know I would offer to shake their hands and move on(damn internet) maybe even become friends in time.--John(JMH-1776)--

Hey guys, I just wanted to say a couple of things.
Ok, I still consider myself a kid because the majority of people are older than me. And I have bought a few things from a great guy (smoke) now it sometimes takes a while to respond to e-mail for me because I have Hotmail, a lousy connection, and sometimes have to work on weekends.
I think that some of the problems that I have here when trying to buy something, is that nobody responds to the thread you start when selling (respond with you have mail or something to that point) Sometimes I will E-mail them if they have anything else for sale/trade.

I think I met you more than half way. I sent you several personal emails to that effect: you chose not to respond to me personally; so, let's take your gripes step by step:

"Way too many emails"? I sent you ONE email before you started with the name calling. I also sent you copies of 2 other emails to Hillbilly. Is one email and two copies "Way too many"? (We (Vince and I) are not the same person and should not be called "they".) None of these emails questioned your way of doing business, as you stated. They were just kind of "what's up, and maybe you might want to try this" emails. None of them demanded the knife.(The knives were listed in: "Knives for Sale/ Trade: Individual Knives for sale by individuals-folders, fixed blades, automatics and more! So I see no relivence to your statement of how many years you have been in business, on the internet or elsewhere. You were listing as an individual and acting as a newcomer.) You seemed to have no intention of sharing the fact that the knife was already spoken for when you replied to my question about the knife. (Or Vince's offer, for that matter.) That may be your way of doing business: "I answered it, just in case, I have had that happen to me many times over the years in busuiness and then sold the product to another. That is just business." But every one else I have dealt with on this site has been courteous enough to let me know that I am number "x" on a list of buyers. That is what I come here for and is what I consider integrity. You are free to conduct your business how you see fit: just don't expect everyone to be happy with it!

Let's stick to the facts! I have bought many knifes (and sold a few) [and been corrected by the guys who were here long before me] but I have never met someone who has such a dire need to be right that they can only talk about one side of the story!
I'm still OK with the fact that you are going through some bad times, but don't take it out on me!
