Not wanting Joe to get a swelled head or anything, but you are in the Blade in the Knifemakers showcase. Just got my issue today and there he is in all his glory. Does this mean we will have to deal with the groupies and everything at Blade this year Joe??

No....I will be worried about SALES at Blade this year, my friend. Not the ideal year economically to be making my "Broadway debut" as it were, but ya gotta do it sooner rather than later to get that exposure. There is Blade and then there is every other show. This publication is not a total surprise like KW was because Joe Kerztman said that I was going to end up in a future issue, but still a little bit of a shock. Unfortunately, my subscription ran out and I have been buying Blade, TK and KI at Barnes and Noble. I just got my April issue of Blade today, so I have a bit of a wait unless they send me a "store copy" like KW did. Thank you for not mentioning the "Jabba the Knifemaker does Belgium" pic. It was all that I could find.:D The other thing I have to do now is come up with suitable product for Blade. Otherwise, I shall go down in knifemaking history as a Wharholian 15 minute one hit wonder based on those two bowies.:D I have to make at least 4-5 of those big stag boogers in the next two months plus all the other stuff. No damascus for me this year unless I can whip out a cable billet real quick.

Who is Joe Mandt??

Just joking of course.:p

Congrats Joe.

Kind regards,

Jos

Way to go Joe. That is one way to "Expose Yourself" without getting in trouble with the law.:D

Hope to see you at Batson's again this year.

Congrats again,

Robert

I'll withhold comment until I see the magazine. Given the competency level of our local post office, that could be a while.

Congratulations anyway, Joe.

Joe, I had to wait until I saw the magazine. Beautiful photo....very life like...or something. Those two are my favorites so far, but then every one you make is better than the last. It's great to see you being recognized for top work. Thanks for the recognition on the leather.

Joe's on FIRE :eek::thumbup:

That's what happens when you don't watch where your forge is!:D

If anyone here has ever seen Joe in person, you know that the groupies he would get would be them old toothless wimmens who are losing their sight.;)

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

RIGHHHHHHT....I also forgot about female inmates......you could probably do fairly well in that crowd.:D:D....and then there are some M to F post- ops...some of them are actually quite striking.

Best Regards,

Joe I saw the pic today I think ya look pretty hot. Hey I would like to go out drinking with you and STeven that way my beat up old ass wouldn't look so bad and some girls might even talk to me:D

Tried to think of something witty to say but all the above posts pretty much covered the bases.

Anyhoo - CONGRATS Joe!!!

Congratulations, Joe!! Was hoping to check it out in my May issue, but it hasn't surfaced, yet. The Blade Show will be special for you this year.
