• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Joey P fighter in Hawaiian Mango

Looks great! I'm sure it feels great, too!

The Mango has a cool tiger stripe, really handsome wood. Love the mirror polish/satin finish detail on the guard.

Anxious to see each of these as they hit the finish line. I like that they are a series yet there is a level of individuality present. Nice touch, Nick!

Now THAT is a serious knife--and seriously beautiful. Wow!

Good to see you posting up more of your incredible work, Nick.

Go ManGo! :D

Great looking knife Nick.
Clean and conservative and no flaws that I can see.
Beautiful work.

Thanks fellas. :)

I think they're all pretty darn close...but the difference in materials definitely makes a huge visual change. I won't deny the possibility of some very slight variances across the group though... contrary to popular belief, I am not a robot. ;) LOL

Thanks for all the support guys! :)

We haven't seen you in Custom and Handmade's in a while! I for one am glad to see you back. Your work is awesome :thumbup::thumbup:

Nice to see that you still make knives occasionally as time permits. And thanks for sharing that one here.

I have a question about that mango wood. Did it need to be stabilized, or is it used in its natural state?

TIA!

Beautiful job Nick - glad to see you are getting some shop time:thumbup:

Mango can be really cool if you find the right piece !

Ok, how did I miss this thread! Nick your work is always excellent. Thank you so much This is a beautiful knife.

I agree with the others. I've done about 10 knives with the mango, and pictures do not show it properly. It has amazing chatoyance.

Nick's work is amazing as always.

Hey guys- :)

I'm still kick'n and getting in the shop as much as I can... Unfortunately, that hasn't been very much with the new job. But better slowly than not at all (or so I keep telling myself! ;)).

Just so anybody that cares, can see I haven't fallen off the face of the earth: Here's a Joe Paranee fighter in Mango from my friend Mark Farley at It's A Burl. My friend Greg picked out the wood...clearly, he has very good taste!

Thanks for checking it out guys. :)

ps- soon up, Ironwood and Koa...
