I concur! I just ordered an out of production Spydie from John. Even though all the orders have to be done via phone or email (I called), he has a good selection on his website. He took the order, said it would be shipped that day, and it was! He told me he had one left of the knife I wanted in stock, but it turns out he had more, and corrected that info on the receipt.
He comes highly recommended by Joyce from Spyderco, too
