This knife was on John's table at the Cambridge Ohio show last Fall. I acquired it in a trade & am looking to sell it.Condition is pre owned,used.Has one scratch on the hand rubbed ATS-34 blade & some honest carry scuffs on the bolsters & backsprings,but take a look,it is a nice one
Gorgeous brown bone scales,Kabar "style" dog head ss shield (pinned)
Dim. 3-1/4" closed, 2-1/2" blade 5-3/4" open
No half stop,blade centered w/ closed,firm snap,smooth & no blade play
Swedged clip blade
Bolsters & liners,ss,integral one piece milled
Liners are mill relieved as well,for the blade tang
ss pins
Has been touch up sharpened
A user in excellent shape,typically this would be $350 from John . Nice & slim,great pocket carry size,yet practical for using
John Howser does the dog head shield opposite a Kabar ,he feels the knife looks better with the dog head right side up when opened.Go take a look at a Kabar slipjoint & you'll see what I mean,w/ the blade is open,the dog head is upside down,as is this one,when closed
* Now SOLD *
Thanks,
-Vince

Custom slipjoint trades considered
