I've bought a few Peanut knives but I've really just never taken to them. I really WANT to like them but they just end up sitting in a drawer. I have one left and I thought why not pass it along to somebody here on the Porch. So, it's time for a FAST GAW.

Please be a regular here on the Porch, post something "Peanut" related for an entry, and I'll draw the winner in 24 hours (Wed. 8/29/16 @ 6:30 am Pacific Time). Good Luck.

Well, I guess I am in. Carried small, peanut-sized knives (small stockman, pen knives, small SAKs, small lockbacks, etc.) for years, but never had an actual peanut. It's on my list of knives to acquire. Thanks, John!
 
I am feeling like I have been entering in too many GAWs lately, but I want a peanut! I'm in.

As I said in another recent peanut GAW, I don't have one, and would like to try one. But my daughter actually does have her own peanut thanks to the generosity of another forum member. Hers isn't very sharp, and she only gets to use it under close supervision, but you can see her response to getting her first real knife here:

I'm in, my wife and I paid the bills while I was in school manufacturing and selling these peanut (whole, in the shell) shooting crossbows at Rennaisance Faires :D

I'm in! I've yet to try a Peanut, or any Case to that matter which is something that needs to change. As for something Peanut related... Hmm..

That's my pup, AK, and he loves peanut butter, of course. But he's also a little peanut elitist. He flat out refuses to eat peanuts that come out a can/tube, but will eat pounds of them if I shell them for him. Any time I go camping with him I make sure to nab a big bag of them to share.

Great idea for a giveaway, if I hadn't recently won a knife I'd enter as this would be the perfect chance to try out a case peanut.
I personally find the front bolster on them a bit unattractive, but I figure appreciation through use would cure that.

I'm in.

I'm in the same boat. I have had and liked Rough Rider Peanuts, but gave them away. I really wanted to have the touted Case Peanut but I bought one and it had both blades way off center and both tips way proud of the frame. So I had to send it back.

Also, peanut related, I have the tendency to eat peanut butter when I wake up in the night.
