My spellling and grammer sucks, I dont care. I got no time and too much to do.
Hey Guys Im sorry about taking so long to get some photos up of this potbelly but Im just so dang busey. I finally got a little time today so here is what I quick put togather.
KNIFE USE
I batoned some oak pieces for use in my smoker, most ere 3-4". It splits wood like crazy and I have no complaints.
I chopped some stakes for use in my garden. Most were 1.5"-2" oak. It chopped like a beast. Grip was nice, no hot spots. Knife is well balenced for chopping, chopps a "little" bit better than my BK7.
Some of you might wonder about my gardening techniques but hey, Im broke and red neck so this is what I did. I dont have money for a tiller and Im livin payday to payday so the garden was alot of work. I rigged up some nylon cord run stake to stake for guid lines and used my potbelly to cut lines in the sod. The knife cut through the sod really easy and I cut 4 20foot long rows. Then used a shovel to lift the sod. I live in NC and my soil is rich loam. Shit is great for growin a garden in. Anyway when I was done with this I went in the garage and cut some 550 cord to see how sharp it was, not to bad.
The sheath is awsomeish, I wish it was nylon instead of polyester. It is big. Lots of room. I have a complete mini survival kit stuffed in mine. I list and post that with pics in a couple weeks or so. I would HIGHLY recomend this knife for backpacking trips and hunting trips. Day trips, forget it, its a monster. Its like a cross between a BK2 and a BK7 with a little bolo thrown in there.
The pics I have included are pics I took when I first got it. I will post the used pics when I post my survival pouch pics. If your on the edge of making the decision to buy this, BUY IT. You get a great knife and a one of a kind sheath.
Laters yall.
