i have no doubt he is a gangster. he mentioned he will think of himself as a merc rather than a soldier in an earlier post.

in his other posts he talks about dealing dope, bribing cops, and various other indescretions.

even if it is made up, i wouldnt want someone with so little honor and an askew moral compass defending my country.

i tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but i am in agreement with the rest of you.

this knucklehead belongs in prison, not the military.

First off, Fatman... let me introduce myself. I am currently stationed with the US Army, 3rd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regment. I am a combat wounded veteran, with 3 tours in support of the Global War on Terror. Now that that has been said, time to address you.

Your attitude sucks, and you do not belong in the Army, or any other branch of military service. It sounds like you need to pay more attention in your high school history (and english) classes, since none of what you said about the Sunnis OR Shiites make any sense. It's funny how someone sitting their ass on the sidelines can think he has so much insight on the war, and what its all about.

Anyways, thats all I wanted to say. Do everyone in the Armed Forces a favor and keep your ass on the sidelines with the specators, let us do our job, and stay out of our f*cking way.

You might want to review the rules for posting in the Community Center, especially #3 on the "Don't Do It List." Foul or offensive language is specifically barred from Community (whether the language seems justified or not ). You can go back to your post and use the Edit feature to make any changes you feel are appropriate to make the post comply with the posted rules of the forum. It's a good feature and we have all used it at one time or another.

I'm suprised by the way everyone is jumping on this man. His views might not be the same as yours right now and I don't agree with them either but the point is he wants to better himself. For all you other active duty members and vets, think of everything you learned from the military; discipline, responsibility, respect, appreciation for things most take for granted just to name a few. It personally sounds to me that hes making the best decision he ever made.
