Jot Khalsa>>what gives?

I have my original, and what I would change is:

- locking system, (it opens sometimes while putting in pocket) think back lock would be best due to it's closed balde holding abilities,
- Slightly enlarge whole design (about 10-15%),
- four position pocket clip or at least tip up carrying possibility (so I could open it as wave equipped blade)
- textured scales for better grip (maybe some fancy colours and mterials),
- blade steel (vg10, s30v).

All that should give a good useful knife.

It is great that You consider re-release of this design.

P.S.
Sorry for my english.

Yeah What he said! Oh and the flag...:D

I liked the jot khalsa a lot and it still stays in my memory although I only had it for a short time. It was one of the first spyderco's I had and I had to trade it out on a warrant in repair issue. I loved the ergonomics both in hand and its ultra quick opening, I personally don't think the design dynamics should be changed at all. If I had my way it would be done in a high grade but not over-the-top steel such as VG 10 or possibly s30v. Personally my handle materials of choice would be royal purple G10, or dark multicolor canvas micarta. Or possibly a classical Chris Reeve style frame lock in steel or titanium, preferably with a back scale of the aforementioned handle materials. For some reason the only other lock that I could really groove with would be a ball lock with this model.
