Interesting that you can buy this one without Active Service Credentials, but not the other one (0808BRX1) they have had listed for quite a while.

Ya too much $$$ .
I was looking at buying a regular one as it is really cool .
Active service credentials puts a damper on that. Did find a few cheaper online but still too much.
 
I'm sorry, Buck, but I believe I will have to take a pass on this one. :(

Not my style of knife/machete, and it is way, way out of my price range. :oops::(
 
A while back I was on their website chatting with one of their reps about this knife being available only to a limited group and they said something was in the works that they couldn't discuss. Guess this was it.

I'm liking what I see but I'm way over budget on my fun money at the moment.
 
Great looking “knife”, and probably tops for its intended purpose; but it’s about $300 more than I’d pay for an outdoors tool.

It’s a shame they went to $400. I think the BOM loyalists are going to rethink their commitment to the series.

Maybe next month we’ll get a knife that represents “Buck” again. 112, 101, 118, 301, 500, 116, 121, 124, 302, 347, etc...
 
These guys have lost their minds, a $400 carbon I steel machete in tacky cool swim wear! Sorry Buck, I guess your marketing for the new Ninja Mall Rat Gamer types. I must be getting old and poor as I would not even buy that at 25% of that price. Sorry if I offend the folks who like this Tomb Raider machete!
