July Jungle Trip - Film Crew

Jeff,
What do you call those orange (candy-like) things you had in November, they looked like big sweet tarts? I think it was for blood sugar.

Glucose tablets. Good stuff. WalMart has them.

Would Starburst or Sweettarts have the same effect?

One thing I won't go into the jungle without....salt packets!

Y'all need to stop by the nearest luxury hotel and take Bear Grylls with you. See what his little knife will do in the Amazon. I'm too old and fat, or I'd go.

Man I am Jealous, I'll tell you what though, I will get get on one of your courses soon. I can't swing it this year, but most likely next year.

Thanks Bear for all the great info, and filling me in on your first trip.

It was great talking to ya bro!

Jeff is there anywhere in Lima kind of vacation like so I can leave my wife and

daughter, while I get my as kicked in the jungle?

tonym, we can leave your family in Iquitos and they will be fine. I don't care for Lima unless you stay in the Miraflores area. We have a very good network in Iquitos, and even though there is several hundred thousand living in this city, no one will mess with your family there. ;)

Bear, any type of sugar will do. I just prefer the glucose tabs since they're easy to carry and about the right size to do the job.

One of those European countries that speak Dutch :D

well then it's either Belgium or The Netherlands/Holland.
Let me know when they air it, then I'll record it with my tvcard and put it online.

Lucky guys getting an rc-6 early, I wish I was in tv business.

Thanks Jeff,

Sounds ok to me, but my wife is gonna want a beach and cocktail, or at least a pool.

We'll probably leave her at home if thats the case.

I spoke to Bear about this for awhile and it sounds like something I would really want to do. Would you mind if I shot you an email in the next few weeks to discuss this more in detail?

Tony,
This is right up your alley and after talking with you I am sure of it. Once you are there mentally, it becomes fun and everything around you seems....clear!

I agree, Lima is nice but lacks personallity, for me at least. Iquitos feels like you are with the people. Just don't eat the burgers there!

Tony,

Email away. Like bear said Iquitos is the place to be. We only go through Lima because we have to.

Thanks Bear, I really think I'll enjoy it!

Jeff thanks also, I need to get through this summer, and then I 'll start talking to you about details. Have a great time over there!

Tony stop buying so many knives and save up for the trip. Although that might be my fault.:)

Tony,

I will put you on the same list I put Rockywolf on, its called Do Not Read This Thread Rocky and Tony. When you see that, don't open it.

Too late, I just hit Koyote up for a couple.:D

But yeah put me on that list please!!!

Better idea, send me your wallet and I will dish out cashola to you as you need it. Someone has to do it. Koyote knives are different and thats one thing that makes them great.

...then leave their ass in the jungle with a machete, canteen, compass, poncho and fire starter. They will also be carrying an RC-6 as a primary survival knife. If they're lucky they will get themselves out of the place we leave them ;)...

and what kind of gear do you use to take them out?! avanced GPS tracers, helicopters, satellite radio´s and a bunch or RC knifes ;)

I think I can answer that. Fire! If you light the forest area up they will most likely come out running with their pants hanging off of them. Happy I can help.:D:eek:
