You get two either sex and three or four more anterless only before they make ya purchase more doe tags. THis year has changed a little and I havent killed enough to worry yet. As a landowner I dont have to buy a license here if I hunt my own land.

THe VA archery season runs from 9/1/08-3/?/09---6 months this year:barf:

I saw 10 deer this morning before 9:00 am hunting in the rural crescent on 10 acres. THree bucks. actuall, the wind was blowing purdy strong and I walked up within 40yrds of a 2yr old ish 8pt. He was wearing a little sycamore sappling out and never new I was there

Nice work man. Was that a factory edge? How far of a drop was it to the deer? This is actually not an easy thing to do....getting through the spine, muscle, and cartilage can be hard enough when all the conditions are good but coming out of a tree??? Very cool! Congrats.:thumbup:
