Congrats on the milestone! I'm going to pass on this great giveaway.

I love to fish, particularly for largemouth and for redfish and speckled seatrout. I was thinking of posting some of my trophy catches (28" and 29" trout) but realized that is not what's it at. It is the experience of just being outdoors that counts. So, here is a photo I took on one of my favorite central Texas rivers, the San Gabriel, that shows some dragonflies and dragonfly nymphs emerging from the water along the side of a rock in some rapids I was wading through.

So, look up, down, and all around and take it all in. Enjoy your trip!

You know, I am surprised nobody made any comment about Kerry's photo such as,

"That is a great photo of a bigmouth ... and the bass isn't bad either!" :D

Just funnin' with you Kerry! :)

It's hard to get away when you live in LA. :(

Great giveaway!
I have been known to wander pretty far up a creek in search of the elusive native Georgian Brook Trout. I shot these up in White County in November. It's either Boggs Creek, or Frogtown Creek.

Have a great trip.

Here're a few lousy pics - copies of prints using my digital camera, in fact :grumpy: - of Machu Picchu; the Lost City of the Inca, high in the Andes above the Urubamba Valley in Peru. The wife and I spent a few weeks wandering in the ruins, hiking around the terraces and streams, and generally climbing our asses off. As you can see, we had the site pretty much to ourselves, save for an occasional llama or alpaca.
