Been hot and humid here so I think the best outdoor activity is found underground...summer heat means caving weather!

Wow. You guys are wearing sweatshirts in these pictures. Were these taken in the summer? Is it THAT cool in those caves in the summer that you guys need jackets and sweatshirts? If so, I need to go find me some caves. LOL

Here's my pic, it's the Delaware Watergap dividing Jersey from Pennsy, thanks for the giveaway.

Congrats on the post count, here is a shot of some campers going out for a ride.
One of them is my grandson.

Thanks for the chance.

Where is this? I like it!

The Lake District in NW England just south of the Scottish Border.
It is an old glacial area of finger lakes radiating out of a high center.
One of the fingers is Buttermere and Cummock Water.

This photo is taken looking over Buttermere and Cummock Water.
The first water is just a small Tarn (high mountain lake) feeding in to Buttermere

This is from Buttermere

This is also Buttermere further back up the valley

Thanks for posting everyone! Great stuff all around. The winner of the giveaway is FLymon, with Post #33!

At some point today I should be posting a few pics of my trip in WS&S under the title "Extreme Car Camping"

Awsome!
Thanks to Wintermute, and a very generous community. I look forward to new posts in this forum everyday, and enjoy the atmosphere that is on display here everyday.
A bunch of great photos in this thread. Looks like the traditional bunch might favor the mountainous regions of the country.
I will post pics when I get the knife.

Thanks again!

Really enjoyed this give away's criteria. The photos were so varied. I like seeing all the different places that everyone has experienced. Congrats to the winner and host, thanks, MK

Thanks again to Winternute for the giveaway!
I got the knife today. It actually got here Friday, but the wife forgot to mention that I got a package in the mail until this evening.

Very nice. I think this is the first German made slippie I have owned and the quality is pretty good. Nice fat stag, and 4 very sharp and thin blades. I am going to carry it next week and see how I like it. It is about 3.5" and here are a few pics I just took.

Next to a 3.5" Trapper for scale. Told you it was fat.

One more with the blades open.
