Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
a full tang, as in as thick as the handle like the 124......would be interesting on top of your other wants. steel pommel and guard would make it really off balance though and end heavy. need another inch or so of blade to help out so now we are leaning towards a 120.Buck 119 with a CPM 3V blade hardened to 60/61 HRC, stainless steel pommel and guard (like the original 122 Nemo) and finely polished black linen micarta handle.
I know it’s not likely at all but a man can hope![]()
I was hoping someone else would step up and post for this month. Thanks.Surprised no June thread yet...
Don't go far.... It's nice having you around.I was hoping someone else would step up and post for this month. Thanks.
I am taking a break from Buck knives for a while. I am going back to what I collected prior to collecting Buck knives, which is firearms.
But as always, still hoping for an upgraded steel/handle 124 BOTM.
Thanks man. I appreciate that.Don't go far.... It's nice having you around.
I stopped collecting firearms..just have too many...and when price of ammo went crazy i stopped shooting on my range. now I shoot air guns and bb guns in my backyard with the boy........I was hoping someone else would step up and post for this month. Thanks.

You about summed up my feelings on Buck these days. No more Joe H. web blasts will be sorely missed.I've sorta ventured back towards some past interests myself. I suspect that's true for others with the absence of many regulars.
When Joe Houser retired, the web blasts, and unique build outs all disappeared.
Now I can look forward to 500 plus count BOTM's.....?
Dealer exclusives are gone......
It's inevitable I guess.
Buck needs to at least expand the Custom Shop offerings as carakoted D2 bladed knives and Chinese made flippers are not holding my interests.
Joe sorta focused on traditional style knives. I thought that was great. You about summed up my feelings on Buck these days. No more Joe H. web blasts will be sorely missed.
Sadly, I wasn't hanging around in Joe's day, not that it would have mattered, I would have been unable to bring myself to spend that much money on a knife. I very much, greatly and highly appreciate the craftsmanship. But I have a real enjoyment of plain jane simplicity and cleanness of line and form.Joe sorta focused on traditional style knives. I thought that was great.
Now they seem to be playing with modern folders...... And there's a few that... Awe heck, really I couldn't care less.
But that's me. I don't collect modern folders. I would venture to guess most of Buck's followers are an older bunch.
Buck's looking to the future, and a younger buyer.
