June Buck of the month just dropped

Man... This one really tempted me. I've always found the 503 to be a very attractive knife, even more so with this barehead release (although I could do without the long pull). I've found the 503 to just be too small for me to carry as a main knife... So it usually comes down to a 503, or a SAK Yeoman as my backup knife. The 503 sadly rarely wins that battle.

That's one attractive sheath too!

I do like that Buck is still turning out BOTM models that have not been done before (124! 124! 124! ). I picked one up for the two-tone sheath. I'll toss the knife.

What a fantastic looking knife! I somehow don't have a 503 despite really enjoying similarly sized 303's and 55's. It's just about the same size of my first knife from my dad that I carried and abused from my pre-teens until I was a young father in my 30's. Perfect for me.

I didn't see the email until this morning. Saved me from having to make a decision. They went fast. I carry a 55 at times and like the size. Its a handy pocket knife. I don't consider it a sheath knife, but the clip slip is nice.

Here is a quick picture (sorry for the quality) of an 055 and a 503. The 503 is on the bottom. Only 55 left as I type! [Edit: Of course there is no long nail nick on either of these....]

Thanks for posting this, it's very helpful. I sure thought the 055 was closer to the 501 in size, but I was obviously mistaken. Since I already have a 503 I can cross the 055 off my list! (Still want a 501, though.)

I decided to sleep on it. Wasn't expecting it to sell out so fast, but I'm happy for those of yall who got one. The 503 is a good size for a back up knife, but I find myself carrying a 055 more often, because I prefer a clip point.
