Junglas Laserna Pack

How does it compare to the maxpedition condor pack? Looking for a pack around 2000 cubes and good organization.if they are really close alike, the condor is much less and a better warranty.

I just got in a pile of Laserna packs from Colombia. Plenty to go around for everybody. Email me for international mailing rates though. Mike

Okay, so I have been periodically eyeballing the Laserna pack everyday for the past couple weeks. The time is coming, probably this week.

Before I purchase this pack, I would like to hear some more opinions about it from those who have used it on an overnighter or a long day hike.

Even though these packs are pretty new, I am sure some of you have put some dirt on them by now.:D

I am looking for a small overnight/ day hiking pack.

I currently own a Kelty Redwing 3100. It is super comfortable for me, but it is a little large for day hikes sometimes, and better suited for overnighters+ (IMO).

I figured that the Laserna would be the best step down in size, and hopefully be an upgrade in durability.

I would also appreciate your opinions of the waste strap and overall comfort of the pack compared to competitive offerings.

Thanks Guys,

Keep'em sharp!

The pack is durable ,well made with a lot of options
small over night or weekend pack, yes will work or should work great for you in that application.
I think the waist strap is well design and well built I slide a canteen pouch on the the R/H side and my ESEE4 on the L/H side of the waist strap and head out .
I think you'll enjoy it. only thing I could maybe add is if your using it during rainy part or expecting rain I'd treat it with a water repellant.I lightly dusted mine with an aersol water repellant overtime with several coats to help beat back the water

Does the pack have drainage ports in the bottom, or is it more of a "keep the water out in the first place" type of design?

Thanks. It was hard to tell from the picture if that grommet goes into the pack or is just on the webbing.

Thanks for the reply Tony.

I like the idea that I can use this pack for anything from airport travel, to BOB, to hiking, etc. I will just have to buy it to see if it fits me right.

I have seen the pics of mesquite you have in Texas. We have almost the same mesquite where I am living. That tree is just great for camping. You dont even need to gather wood since you can just pick it out of your feet at the end of the day. :D:thumbup:

Great reviews and photos!

It may be time to replace my EDC, 13+ yr old Marmot Talus (2400 cu.in.) pack. It has been great and held up like a tank but does not alot of options for adding extra capacity.

This looks like a great replacement for my EDC/BOB!

The only question now is.... which color?

Thanks ESEE for continuing to find ways to separate me from my money!

Hi ESEERATFAN,

I got my pack today :D

The Junglas Pack is so beautiful

Really like my purchase

Thanks for the help earlier, it worked.

NICE!!!!

That Junglas will attach quite nicely to the side of the Junglas pack.

I just added a camelback storm to my pack. Perfect fit, just wish the camelback color matched the junglas a little better.

Could you please help me? I tried to attach the Junglas last night but failed. The snap lock kept coming undone. I've never used a MOLLE system before.
I could take photos of what I did, see what you could tell me to do different.

Please let me know.

Nice on the camelback addition
