Junstar81 is a horrible person to deal with on ebay with buying and selling he sent me 3 golfballs in place of a kulgera that he was supposed to send me. I pretty much hate his filthy guts!!!

I have a hard time believing he sells on eBay alot and is a total scumbag as he would get yanked or no biz, at least I would think.

Why a dispute already? Did you even give him a chance to make it right? Your last response didnt say much. Becasue its a paypal dispute now? Are you saying you filed a dispute before giving him a chance to make right? If thats the case, Ive had that happen before as a seller and I too would prolly tell someone to F-themselves if they jumped to such rash outlets.

Hope all works out for you man, I doubt if he intended to rip you off that he would of wasted postage on the golf balls.

CHEERS

Jimdel, I understand you being upset but we do have traditions and procedures here, and if you don't follow them, you won't be making a good case for yourself, or get much sympathy.

We really need details as the others have asked. What kind of communications have you had with him and with eBay? I am also curious where this deal was made. Although he is a member here, he has never posted. If the deal was done on eBay, we may not be interested at all.

I have just emailed him with the address of this thread, inviting him to provide his poiint of view.

I can't imagine who wouldn't be interested in someone who paid for a knife and got a box with nothing in it but golf balls ... must be someone who doesn't read TGB&U.

I am hoping Junstar81 will post his story here as he returned my email.
The transaction sounds VERY different from his point of view.

Does he happen to sell things like golf balls on e-bay? If he sells to lots of people then there is a good chance someone else got your knife.

You already posted this. I am merging your threads.

This is the story..... I sold junstar81 a brand spanking NEW Kulgera on ebay I bought a few days earlier...the knife was in perfect condition and i got it for cheap and I thought I could turn a little profit on ebay. Junstar81 bought the knife and I shipped it out in a timely fashion and gave him good feed back on ebay because of his prompt payment. He received the knife and emailed me and said the knife wasnt new I said it was but I thought if he didnt want it I would refund his money...then I called the person whom I bought it from and he assured me that it was new and i took his word because i have had many dealing with him in the past and he is a stand up guy. Then I told junstar81 that I wouldnt refund his money because the knife was as described but I gave him an option that i would refund 15 dollars of his money if he wanted to keep it...2 minutes later he filed a paypal dispute and after he filed the dispute i agreed to return his money if he returned the kulgera, and I thought that would be the end, everyone gets their money or knife back and we live our lives...but he sent me 3 golf balls back in a box so I had to file a paypal dispute as well, now im in the process of getting an incident report from the police that i filed today that i have to fax to paypal so i dont get ripped of by junstar 81 a dishonest turd. BTW I left him no malicious emails I was polite and nice.

I have been away from the forums for a while, but when Jim contacted me and told me what was going on, I decided to post to this thread. Jim bought the knife from me, it IS brand new. I purchased the knife from a well respected dealer in the Lansing Michigan area. I was in a bind, and needed some cash fast, so I sold it to him for cheap. Jim is a long time friend of mine, and I know the whole story. I have seen the emails, and the golf balls. Liam....I don't think Jim recieving these golf balls was a mix up in anyway, due to the fact that they are beat to crap and covered in dirt. So all in all from what I've seen Junstar 81 is a scam artist and I hope the issue is resolved in a timely fashion. I hope this clears up any confusion. Take care all!!

No chance of that because it was a return to me....this was done with purpose.

This sounds like the old "Significantly Not As Described" scam that PayPal sellers can fall victim to.

Because PayPal will almost always side with the buyer, the sellers funds are yanked during the dispute. The buyer sends back a worthless parcel (showing PP a receipt of shipping) and gets to keep both the knife and their refunded money.

This is the reason I don't take PP from strangers, and why I stopped selling on eBay.

After a huge headache I got this rectified through Paypal ...I had to get an affidavit notarized a police report and submit them to Paypal to have them refund my money... huge pain...but I'm happy i didn't get ripped off.
