Just a bit different

Looks great, Don, but the bolster needs a dropped "finger guard" to counterbalance the dropped edge. At least IMO, which doesn't mean much until I get on the wait list... :D MMM, that's some creamy ivory...

A little different but all your works is special and beautiful.
thanks for sharing

It looks stunningly sweet and of course I like it very much
Congratulations for your success in creatively building such a beautiful folder
And thanks to you Don for the showing and telling :)

I want to go on record for two things about this knife:

1) It's absolutely flawless, fabulous, and the pics don't do it justice:thumbup:

2) I got to fondle it before Danbo:D

thanks for letting me handle this beauty Don, and thanks Joe for telling me Don had it with him:)

That's one of my all time favorite folders. I love the shape of the blade and handle and the materials are exquisite.

Hey Don: What chemical in the ground do you think would create this color? Is this a rare color for old walrus ivory? Suh......weeeet folder.

Love that walrus ivory! The blade shape reminds me of a folding bowie I've got from Bailey Bradshaw.

John, not sure what causes the orange color and yes, it is rare.
Sorry you couldn't make the show, guess you're still down south fishing ;)

Bailey has done the dropped edge on folders for years but not sure if he's done one with as short a clip as this one. I really like his folders :)
