Just a little GAW *winner announced*

Lovely giveaway.

My hobbies include canoeing, snow boarding, shooting, throwing axes/hawks/knives, making knives and riding motorcycles.

Here are my daily drivers. I ride about an hour every day I work. I put 5k miles on the bike this year.
2053cc (125 cubic inch) Kawasaki Vulcan.

My last bike was a KLX 650c
Had this one for about 15 years before I sold it.
You and I share many of the same interests :) I don't get up to the snow quite as much as I used to though. Mainly because there isn't as much snow in Tahoe these days but also because lift ticket prices are insane and I am too old to drive up and back same day  I will be moving to Placerville at some point though and will be within an hour of the resorts...which will be nice.

Thanks a lot for this generous GAW :)

I've to say that I love coffee too, specially when it's italian and in the area behing the port of Genoa, but also when it's Turkish 😁

But, it seems that I share another hobby with some of you 🤣

Wow very nice! Is that a dyna?

Thank you :) . Yes , here its name is streetbob, 2013.

Â
Very cool :) I was looking at the new Street Bob before I pulled the trigger on the Heritage. I think the new version here is a softtail though. I much prefer the look of the dyna suspension. I am told they handle better than softtails too.

Well, I've to say I'm not a great fan of Halrey's new models. Really too modern for me. Unfortunately the laws against the pollution here requires a modern engine if you want to drive everyday. If not, in case of significant level of pollution you can't take your bike (or car) 😭.

Your bike must be great to travel. I use mine to drive between the cars in the traffic jam. For this the ape hanger is great

When I'm not fondling knives, I like to roast coffee.

I wish had been able to get more of this kind as it was a delicious roast:

Saw one flying years ago, she was bound to a meeting the other side of the Léman lake, in Switzerland.
We heard her approaching from far behind the mountain and we could see her long and clearly (maybe only 2000ft over us) when she flew straight toward Vevey. With my parents we rushed to the garden and they both had a curious glimpse to each other. Later they told me they had recognized the sound of the piston engines, the last time they had heard it there were many many more rumbling together as it was during the war, when the Allies every day were bombing the La Chapelle marshalling yard (they were living the next street to the railway bridge) North of Paris and it was a mixed souvenir of shear joy and fear.

That's very fair of you, you know I dig micarta!

I started early to be bad to the bone 😆 I love motorcycling, though had only 3 in my life, the last one in need of running in since rebuild after 240 000km, but covid and silly regulations don't help these days as JM stated above...

I really hope JM wins haha 💪
Nevertheless, I'll vote for btb01 btb01 to which I dedicate this song. (I hope this is not unappropriate.) 😊

It is a bummer to hear that there are so many restrictions overseas. It would be amazing to travel over there on a motorcycle I'm sure there are some amazing roads and country to discover. Hopefully you can get back on the road soon!

Very pleased with this! Reaching out now! It was fun reading everyone's posts and a big thanks to waverave waverave . Excited to try out the cashew, will make an awesome counterpart to my yeller Peanut
