I've been thinking about you, Chris. I'm glad to see you posting:) Trust me, bro. I have drawn a lot from your strength. I've mentioned you to my father-in-law several times.

This horrible disease binds us all. This is not just a thread for my dad-in-law, but for all of those that must deal with this very unfair hand. Chris, you have my constant prayers. It's good to have you around.

Hey Chris. You are on my mind daily I promise. So many of you are. More smoke rising for Jake, Chris, and John this AM.
 
I know I'm the "new guy", and I haven't built the friendships yet that all of you have. But nonetheless I wanted to send some smoke Jake's way. Both my grandfather, uncle, as well as my unofficial "adopted" father (such good friends with his kids they "adopted" me as their own) all died from cancer. I know how hard it can be to deal with, especially if your the only one that can keep somewhat emotionally detached and you have to be strong for everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.....
