Paul, Thanks...The ram's horn is one of my favorites. Received a GEC Ben Hogan with a cracked handle..the seller made it right so it got sent off to get the Herman Williams treatment...unfortunately for me it was for my mate in Australia. I'm going to have to find a Ben Hogan for myself now.

That rams horn is making me...hop up and down with joy. Just beautiful.

That's beautiful. I know it's a material that is awkward to use (IFRC you have to split, steam and straighten the horn before anything else... I'm happy to be corrected if I'm wrong though) but it looks amazing as a handle material. I've seen several 53s and 23s with ram's horn but not a Ben Hogan - a very attractive knife. I'm a 25 buff, but I don't believe they ever put that cover material on one. I'd love to see it although I don't know if the frame is too small to make it effective. Nonetheless, that is some gorgeous collection you have there :thumbup:
