You all are making me smile with all these fabulous knives and awesome photographs.....more...more:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Gevo, I hope you do not mind but I had to copy and paste that last shot to my ipad. Wonderful shot my friend. It may be my favorite of yours yet.

Forgive the short story but here is another for you Gevo.

I barely passed high school. My first three attempts at college did not go well, some here know why. After rock bottom upon rock bottom I tried agian with a new mindset. Five years ago I started the process completely over, accepted on academic probation, and forced to enter academic counseling. I finished my undergrad with a 3.47 and kept going. A month or so ago I finally was handed this, something I never thought was even possible ten years ago, and certianly not with a 3.85 gpa. Afterwards, my family gave me a small gift and I was told to buy a knife to celebrate. A few days ago I bought that knife.

Persistence

Lol, I have to order another though. They left off my first name and as I shut the diploma, a fly landed within, it was crushed. There is now fly guts staining it. I need the bugsalt gun...lol. ;);)

Out for a rainy walk this morning with Cleo, snowing on the passes.

In many esoteric traditions ...sweetness symbolizes the spiritual fruit that is our reward for divine effort. The fly sees you:D I foresee many hearts smiling in eternity;)

Fantastic achievement Brett, you have every right to be proud! Congratulations my friend!! -James-

Great work Barry, I too must work harder to display my own collection.

Excellent photo! I have an old brace & bit and hand wood planer that was my granfather's, a vintage wood level my daughter got me as a gift, and an old knife that a BF member rescaled. I've been meaning to get a group photo of them but haven't gotten to it. You've inspired me to get back to it!

Thanks you for the kind words folks. I appreciate it. :)

Barry - Love the display good sir.
