I 'm enjoying everyone's pics myself!!

Paul, the knife is a Schrade Cut Co about 3 and 1/8th" closed. Three blades: spear, modified sheepsfoot and pen.
Nice and tight with no crack or chips. But if the kitty has anything to say about it....lol

Kris...tell us about the egg? You already have me swooning over the knives.

Gev, it is a hand painted goose egg from the Ukraine. It is hollowed out, then beeswax is poured into it to coat the inside, very fragile even with the wax. The sell of the eggs are a large part of manys yearly income in the Ukraine.

I am with Gevonovich, That egg is STUNNING!! I am sure I would buy one in a heartbeat Kris, and the knives are simply beautiful!!

Love the knife, watch and cat. That cat might have some stories to tell, check out the left ear!

Thanks, Clutchcarter. When I found her she was scared and hungry. The ear was still healing and she had a shaved tummy. Turned out, she was a catch and release program kitten. I posted a picture of her and Sarah told me about the program, as I was not aware of it.
She is settled in now and is a veritable hurricane. If you leave anything out with something that resembles a string attached to it...well ...vaya con dios

Great pictures guys!

This butcher knife belonged to my father and was very rusted and neglected. I gave it a good tune up and it is now scary sharp. The old Ames Cutlery Co just needed its day in the sun.
