I couldn't tell you, other than with some of the lighter color/patterns you can see a difference.
That one might be new enough to be acrylic, hope so!

No just shadow, it's clean apart from carbon patina&light rust. It's not a very old knife (under 20?) so I'm hoping it's more likeky modern plastics/acrylic.
