I like the 2 tone wood on that knife..is it cocobolo?....Also like the little vegetation in the pic..very cool....heres some from NZ..........FES

Fes, it is ebony. I really enjoy seeing your photos here as well; that last one looks like it could be in my back yard. We have zillions of similar ferns here in the Pacific NW. When the sun comes back out in June or July, I'll try and post some photos.

I'd love to know myself! This knife is clearly built for very specific use (and is readily available in a left-hand configuration as well, further reinforcing the specificity). I'd love to see it in the hands of someone who knows what he or she is doing. You can see similar blades on some of the Farmer Jacks in wlfryjr's thread on the same; my own short history with this knife (with more pictures) is detailed here.
