I keep telling myself I need one of those. Haven't quite convinced me, yet. I have trouble sharpening the super steels. The wood on yours is beautiful.

I imagine he saw the highlight of red in the snow somewhere and snagged it. Passerine birds can see wavelengths of colour that humans can't pick up on as well. Beautiful shot
