    Cool! I have never seen one of those trees if that is the normal size of the fruit. I have seen something similar but way smaller it was just slightly bigger than a golf ball.

    There’s a neighborhood called Hedgewood in the town I grew up near. The front property line is all osage. The folks that have lots on that side have a huge hedge apple mess to clean up every year. There are always squashed hedge apples are all over the road, too.

    I had to pick up hedge apples as a kid to keep the cows from them. Not poisonous but could get lodged in their esophagus.
