Yes it's a KEB in desert ironwood, esthetically my favorite Fiddleback I ever owned. But functionally I was afraid to get too attached to it here in the temperate rain forest where I live and conduct a lot of wilderness skills and survival experiments, so I passed it on before I did any damage to it.
 
Not very pretty but very well used hiking buddy. Emerald scales pretty faded. They for some reason started feeling rough like it was flaking so I lightly sanded so now they are basically non buffed. I love this blade. Very useful.View attachment 2861356
The Hiking Buddy is one of my favorites. It's the first Fiddleback model I bought.
