3V would rust in that enviroment unless it was kept oiled and dry.
I seriously doubt I'll bother with it. From the info I'm getting, it's sound like a pain.

Have you ever considered CPM 10V? I have a Bose Backpocket with 10V and that blade is tough as hell. Only problem I heard from Tony was that it was tough as hell to grind.

Yes, usually it's a bear to grind after HT. D2 is a bitch because of it's high wear resistance.
