Just a Walk in the Snark

Oh dang!! I just realized what I was doing wrong to get rid of it when I checked that link. Too bad it was after I completely deleted everything. I got my passwords and whatnot, but lost all my bookmarks. I had saved them to my desktop the other day, but now that file won't open. Oh well, they needed to be cleaned up anyways, I musta had 2-300 of em. Looks like its gone now anyways.
Well, at least it's gone. I do bookmark backups nearly every night.

Picked up a (non Becker *gasp*) knife today and sharpened the whole crew up, then decided to clean my stones.

I like it so far slices real well, real nice control on it. Not to sure on the maker just has a little canoe stamped on it.

I was rear-ended the other day! My first ever accident! 100% his fault though.

First, a photo of the damage to my car

Then, a photo of the damage to his car.

And again, at another angle.

yea my car is barely damaged

can't even see a dent on yours... !!

sucks for him though..... ouch..

@wambo... awesome steel man.. you should google makers marks and see what you come up with... there are a few people that have been gathering marks etc from over the years and have a page specifically for it.. as some makers change their mark time and again over the years... but IMO it looks like a quality piece regardless... nice find !!!

Nice knife Wambo. Who is the maker?

Doogoon, looks like he definitely got the worst of it. I was on my way to work one morning in a bigger city that I used to live in and got rear ended. The guy went up under my rear bumper and tore a hole through his hood. When I pulled over to check things out he took off and I never saw him again. Luckily it didn't do anything to my pickup, but he had a bad day.

Sweet blade. The maker is Dean Oliver. Called a Hudson Bay Roachbelly Knife.

an aside here, and just for my own mental masturbation so I'll have this in print...

I haven't played my guitars in about a year, and more importantly my bass, my primary instrument..

so with that said, I'm going to start practicing again and I'm going to learn YYZ from RUSH, in its entirety.. I've always wanted to do it and there is no time like NOW.... Well now meaning once my work load is over and I'm back from florida at the end of the month.. :D

that is all.

That thing is massive. I thought my 561 was big but then I held the Adamas, Wow lol. You plan on pocket carrying that thing or on your belt?

If it's crazy big, I'll just strap it to my pack mule.

Snark is so low that I finally had time to sign up for Pandora, which basically means I just never bothered to before....

Fun fact no one cares about: If I don't get my rear in gear, instead of a happy 75yr from church in his nice rubber crocs, I'll have have a 75 yr Scouter with steel toe boots on their way up my ass. 2 more merit badges and a mountain of paper work might just save my soon to be sore rear end.

You mostly lost me, but I understood there to be some impending kink involving Crocs and your sore ass.

Morning folks!!! Long night at work tonight. Truck shut down 20+ times on me in 90 miles. Think I narrowed it down to a sensor, so hopefully it can be fixed before work tonight. Well, I guess if it doesn't get fixed I'll get the night off.......:p.

Sure you will. I made it three weeks after watching that. :D

If I get off my butt and get up early enough for before work it won't be too hard. Thats what gets me a lot of the time is running late and its too damn easy to just stop somewhere on the way. I bet I can do 3 weeks.
