👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

dont know about the 112, but i have the 110....its everything you could want weight wise. if it had a pocket clip id be bumping my favorites out of that pocket and carrying this full time.

i think youll be pleased if lighter weight is something you want or need.

I was just thinking about how the 110 has changed over more than 50 years and how much it's still the same basic knife. I see it as many little fine tuning steps separated sometimes by many years . This I consider a big step in the evolution of the 110 and I'm sure soon for the 112. I like many other people like the traditional 'look' of the 110 and 112 and the fact that Buck has sold millions of them proves that. Dropping the weight by such a big percentage but keeping the traditional look intact is a big step in the evolution of the 110 and I hope soon the 112.

I'm pretty excited for this. I'm going to get one. How does the paperstone feel? Do you like it?

Mine just came in today. Overall I like it very much. I got the paperstone just because I think it fits the theme of this knife better than wood. That said, the wood looks nicer to me. The paperstone is plain and smooth. To me it would've better with a bead blasted finish to rough it up a bit. The star of the show is the lightness and it truly does transform this knife into a pocketable piece. Fit and finish is good, you can see light through the seams, but that doesn't bother me. The blade is very slightly uneven at the edge, but it does lock up nice and tight. Like I said, overall a great knife and definitely worth the price.

I am waiting too. .Copper and Clad is putting out some very distinctive 112's. I looked on there website yesterday and there were 3 maybe 4 I know would fit into my collection just on looks alone. I was thinking if there was a discount on 3 or more I would risk the wrath of my wife and just get them and be done with it. My problem is I have picked up many of my 112's used and only bought when it was clearly a bargain over 7 years time . That strategy doesn't work now when so many worthy 112's have been released by them and very, very few show up on ebay or here even. Folks that buy Copper and Clad knives are keeping them!
