Just bought my most expensive knife

So out of practice with taking decent pictures. I need to bust out the lightbox again.

Im gonna purchase a membership so I can post pics as well. I might need a blacked out version also ☺

Those are sexy knives. I really like the sheepcliff style blade. Thinking bronze bolster and lightening CF.

On the recommendation of the forums here, I purchased an Olamic 247 and it's on the way here. Tracking says it'll arrive on Monday and I can't freaking wait! Of course lol your pictures are only getting me more hyped even though I still have at least 2 days before I can handle it. :D

Hope I fall in love with mine as much as you did with yours!! Mine will be an EDC as well, I've never been one for buying/keeping things I don't use/find useful. ;)

I'm sure you'll love it. The deployment is great, even my mom flipped it open and she can usually never do it if they're not spring assisted. This thing feels like an assisted blade.

Just because I want more people to be exposed to this awesome knife, here's another picture.

Been carrying it every day since I got it and it's great. I have no complaints about it and find myself just flicking it open and holding it to feel how great it is.

Still waiting on mine. Was supposed to be here Saturday. As aUSPS employee I know its either pushed to the back of a crate, lost or the mail has been delayed due to lack of motivation ( This is most likely lol)

Mine' so supposed to be here sometime between Tuesday and Friday and I can't wait. I'm also hoping to take a tour of the Olamic shop soon, just need to set up an appointment. Lived in the same town for years and lol never even knew. :D

Awesome pic! I tried sending you a PM to see if I can post in our Facebook page (will tag you), but your inbox is full.

Got mine in the mail this morning and can't put it down. :D The tolerances are still very tight, something I knew both from reviews and from watching Nick Shabazz's takedown video. Like I'd heard mentioned before, it's not as flippy as the KVT bearing system on my ZT but...

It's so puuuuuuuurdy. The excellent craftsmanship shows in every millimeter of the knife, and that polished backspaces shines in the sun when it's poking out my pocket. I'm still getting used to it and working to break it in a bit more but I'm seriously impressed.

I'll try and get some pictures up soon but I got a different style than the OP's, the flat 247 sides with chamfered holes cut in so you see the blade nestled inside when it's closed. Can't stop looking at it, these things are real beauties!!

She is a beauty, I'm going to have similar style built.
Can you show other views ex:backspacer?
How much does it weight in oz?
Are bolsters Ti or SS?
What type of steel?

The bolsters and back spacer are both brushed titanium:

Clip is standard polished SS:

The blade steel is a small run of CTS B75P:

She's mirror polished and crazy sharp:

Oh holy shit Evltcat, that knife is absolutely breathtaking!!! I'm a huge fan of natural scales and love the mirror finish on that blade. Stunning!!!

I'll weigh the knife tonight and update tomorrow.

 :D She is very pretty, lucky you, thanks for pics!

PS why did you go with SS clip instead of Ti like in bolster and liners?

In case you didn't get my message, you can go ahead and use it :)

Odd, mine flips like it's assisted. My ZT 560 flips very smoothly but I think it's due to the weight of the blade more than the actual action. I know it's not known for its smoothness though. My 247 rockets out no matter what position I have it, it may feel a bit more mechanical but still amazing.

Nice knives everyone :)
