Yeah the stamping did not set as deep as I like. But I was trying something new. Stitching is natural color bonded nylon

In my younger days I made a lot of leather sheathes! Lots and lots! I started doing leather work when I was about 13 yrs old. Even after 20 or so years of working leather, I NEVER came close to doing the awesome work that you're doing!

Just finished this one up. I believe this was called Busse BURP model knife ? Although I could be way off lol.

That's some nice texturing you've got going there. Sharp looking!

I believe that is a BURP modified. The original run had two styles of butt: a spike and bottle opener ("Coach"); just a bottle opener ("Varsity"). There was another run that started showing up in grab bags, IIRC, that had a smoothed butt like the one you show here. Fantastic blade. I got a Coach, but couldn't abide by the spike. I shortened and rounded the spike on mine. Now it is more of a skull-crusher pommel/butt with a bottle opener.

The snap is DOT 24 , none pull the dot type. S/S T nuts , 8-32 screws.

Thanks for the info You nailed it !! mine is from a grab bag. This one has the penetrator tip option.
