Duh!! Now that you point out what it is I recognize it. It threw me for a loop. I was expecting to see all kinds of knives but never expected that.

I think that one is my favorite so far. We've seen some good ones, but I'd like to see what lurks in the depths of the Uber Hogs drawers, maybe a post from Skunk and The Bully? Let's see 'em guys. You know you've got some Frost cutlery in there somewhere!

I have to go to my parents house...but YES I have Frost finest....I ACTUALLY ordered from QVC!!!!

wait until i get home! you guys will never believe what i found in my kitchen cabinet the other day!!!

While some would argue this is the Americanized version of the Klingon Kut'luch, personally I think it is more closely related to the Mevak. Whatever the case, clearly it is a true warrior's weapon!

As for my own offering, I would say it is this Mike Franklin Custom design end flipper. It seems fitting to be in this forum, since it is called the Hawg's Tooth or some such. I keep it because it is sort of my Ancient Mariner's bird.... :(

(BTW, Will trade it for any Busse knife, no matter the condition! :p)

I received this as a gift. It's sat on that coffee table for about 15 years
There's a FBM LE in the drawer below it :D

Some times it's the intangibles

It's carbon steel, and is developing a nice patina. A real live copy of the knife Jim Bowie carried at the Alamo, good steel too

Didn't know Jim Bowie needed a bottle opener, unlike Skunk, who has one.

Hey rbmcmjr.....I, also do not like this almost identical to yours...knife. The blade is wobbling right now.......the threads stripped a long time ago. It is total garbage. But, alas I must treasure it, because it belonged to a friend of mine who is dead now.....drowned while abolone diving:( so, I do.

Jerry Busse has one in his office he bought just as a conversation starter. It was a survival knife called "The Solution", made back in the 80`s. I don`t know what the problem is....but if that`s your solution you`re introuble.

I remember those! I almost bought one. But then I plunked down the cash for a Buckmaster. I think I still have it somewhere, but I don't know where. All my other junk knives I had I sold off on ebay when I found out about Busse, especially after I got my SH-E. Yes sir, I tossed out my Trailmaster and Tantos and I have never looked back.

I have some Great Knives, I have some Good knives, I have some Crap knives.

A Big part of My Knife Problem is that I seem to like them all.

I have spent more than an hour thinking about the Question.

Currently no answer in sight.

Oh brother, do I have some knives that belong in this thread. I have a whole drawer stuffed full of cheap, cheezy knives- ranging from dimestore switchblades with Dumbo handles, to combination lighter/OTF "knives", to pakkawood garbage, to Gerber/ CRKT/ Kershaw/ Cold Steel junk. I have quite the impressive collection of cheapo, worthless knives. I'll have to take a picture when I get home.

How many of you guys can say that you have a Dumbo switchblade? (yes, the Disney elephant) I have two of them.
