You are the best judge of how you spend your money, but maybe you ought to slow down on the buying frenzy for a while. Use and appreciate what you have. I wish I had taken it slower when I first got the bug.
I have the large S&M Gunstock Jack (Queen) with stag and find it to be an absolutely beautiful knife. It is 4.25" closed, so again I fall on the size that I like at this time for using. But it has not been used yet and got it just prior to Christmas 2014. Also have the Queen Mountain Man which is a gorgeous knife.
Nothing wrong with Queen stuff, but you may need to put a good edge on them as historically they tend to be rather dull. Don't be bummed out if you view them as kitchen knife sharp. The newer Queens tend to be more consistent in terms of factory sharpness.
Canal Street.... yeah. Have the Moon Pie Trapper in elk stag. Nice knife. Kind of expensive.
What are the covers (handles) on the Queen #11s? I have Amber Carved Stag Bone like yours and its in D2. As are Birds Eye Maple and Curly Zebra Wood.
Btw, I just bumped a single blade thread you might enjoy

i cant seem to find any consistent detail about Queen's knives. Their site doesnt even show these trappers. They are all over ebay tho. sometimes with boxes, some with out. the slim trapper is always around $40 ish. with some being 65 or 99 sometimes. Does S&M even have a trapper? slim line or otherwise. Im a sucker for anything with double bolsters and a nice clip, cant wait to see that queen coke bottle that arrived today actually.
Take a look at KSF's web site. They have a pretty broad selection of Queen and S&M knives including the #11.
Of course not, they only show what they have for sale for the most part. But you were mentioning trappers KSF does have some trappers available. Honestly, I would prefer a Queen made recently to one made 10 years ago because of the ownership change (Daniels) at Queen. The Daniels were part of GEC and then bought Queen a couple of years ago now.
Schatt Keystone Slimline Trapper, 1st series c.1991. Sabre ground, stainless.

Only Barehead in that issue. End capped ones may exist in other year releases with different handle material though. More research for you![]()
