Just got the email! Bk23 is out!!

It's more affordable than a martini in Manhattan. It's less than the tip for a martini at some bars in Manhattan!

I never thought I would say I don't like a Becker Blade but I don't like it and I have no faith in any knife made in China. Sorry KaBar. But I guess there must be a market for cheap knives.

It looks like a mini BK-10 w/skeleton-ized handle. I like it. For what it costs, stop complaining & get you one ! LOL :D GREAT knife for gifts. Just sayin'.

I went to the kabar site to check the countdown of the bk20 and found this little surprise

I wasn't able to jump on the 20 but at this price I'll definitely be grabbing one of these

Now I can stop bugging the guy running the Facebook asking about this knife every time they launch a mini blade Haha

It would make a great companion to the BK20. Like a mini me. EXCEPT they didn't put the piggyback pocket and liner on the 20! :grumpy: Have to admit, I was a little disappointed in that detail, but I don't want to sound like a whiner.

sounds like you need some custom kydex!

Someday when other financial priorities aren't between me and kydex. Are you one of the talented kydex benders here?

Will these fit the inserts for the Ramora?

At least it does for the BK4. Photos borrowed from Jonny1280

Damn China made? We can't Stamp those out here? I'll pass.

I'll have to wait until Gaston chimes in with his warped impressions before I can decide to like this or not.
;)

Exactly!
Not much to complain about in a $10 knife.
Pop it in a companion pouch on a big Becker and call it good!
Give one to a Beckerless buddy.

Something like this might open up the market to some that have never thought about Becker knives.
And in turn, maybe open their eyes to the standard Becker lineup.

Ka-Bar has done this same thing for a lot of the other designers on board.
It's only fitting that they put out a Becker as well.
Sure it's made in China....but it's a $10 knife! And it's cool.
I keep mine on my Machax and it makes for a dandy firesteel scraper. :D

I love Becker knives. The reason I will not buy buy one even though it's cool and cheap is because supporting this decision will bring more of it. Some thing are better left alone.

Looks like something that would make a neat little project knife. Of if anybody is thinking of getting into moding, this is something to get some practice on :D

If they make their way to my local shop for a good price, I'll get one. Then grind it into a wharncleff :D

Your in good hands. Well figure out a sheath style once I get the 23. Check your mail on friday as well.

I'm liking it. Like you said, a good little knife to throw into the bigger sheaths. As for the China debate, just remember that the 13's were originally produced in China as well, until apparently they sold well enough to move production back to the US. Hopefully if these will follow suit.

Well, I've sold a lot of them this Blade Show. It's a handy little blade, sort of like a beefed up Remora. Well worth the $$.

This...
