Just got the email! Bk23 is out!!

Well, I've sold a lot of them this Blade Show. It's a handy little blade, sort of like a beefed up Remora. Well worth the $$.

This...

Yup.

I know it won't work well with my hands, but I'm gonna get a few of them. Hell of a deal.

Looks like something that would make a neat little project knife. Of if anybody is thinking of getting into moding, this is something to get some practice on :D

If they make their way to my local shop for a good price, I'll get one. Then grind it into a wharncleff :D

This. It would be a good choice to practice on. Hell, buy three at this price. F' one up, got two more. :)

It's stainless... Someone have any time with using one? How'd it hold up?

sold a lot of them all day long over 3 days at Blade Show.

i like them.

took two home as well. will open one and have some fun with it.

those 1095 Remoras are nice too, but those are $20, and the BK14 seconds were $30

bargain hunters made their choice.

China is just a good way to get a decent price on an experiment even, with American designs.

commenting you hate were it works over and over is kind of silly.

This is the perfect first fixed blade for my three sons. I'm getting one for each of them. Cheap as a SAK classic, but with the Ka-Bar/BK&T stamp on it. My oldest loves the idea, go figure ;)

I can't believe that is going to be my first Becker. Just ordered that and the Jarosz Rambler to throw in my camper.

Anyone have a side by side of the 23 and a Remora? Thanks.

i could get a round tuit, but not right now...

the BK23 is more stout. more handle. feels right.

i should've bought 5 more. maybe i'll call up KaBar later :D

Meh, not for me. Too small. I don't care that it's made in China. People in other countries gotta eat too and I'm sure Ka-Bar is making sure they're just as good as if they were made stateside. Just because it's made in China doesn't necessarily mean the quality is lower.

I really really need to grab a few of these. I have some mods in mind.

anyone see these hit any of the dealers yet? (other then kabar)

I'm outa line but when product isn't made here somebody doesn't eat here. I love the KaBar Becker product. And all the members who share their stories here. This is just my two bits. I don't care what product I am looking at, I try my hardest to buy USA made. Clothes, hardware, chain saw, truck, food, etc.
I'm not familiar with the Remora but will be spending another 10 bucks more to buy one made here.

I am a sales rep for a American vinyl window manufacturer, Manufactured in Auburn WA. The Chinese made vinyl window being sold here is a bigger and bigger threat all the time. I don't want to see more jobs lost.
