I hope you do!...Clip point mods are spreading like wildfire around here now ahha. Cant wait to see what your gonna do to that 7 you mentioned in the chat thread too.
 
Nice work on that clip point! The 14 looks really good like that, and I can see the shape being advantageous over the drop point for fish or small game.
 
Man, I love that clipped 14. Just came back to look at it again.
The only additional mod I'd make is.... well, you'll see. You'll have that little touch in your hands shortly.

But tell the truth - you're a terrible fisherman and were potting those fishies with your .22.

Damm, one of the best 14's! i always wished becker would make a necker with a sleeker blade, thats the only reason i dont carry my necker often!

yup. I never ever go fishing without beetlespins. I have caught every type and size of fish in the Ozarks on one, lakes and rivers. Love the things, buy them in bulk since the rocky rivers and tree-filled lakes around here eat up lures something fierce! Charetruse (sp?) green is the best color, followed by orange then yellow. Red and black dont seem to work here.




Thanks for the compliments fellers, I like it myself, the 14 is just a great great knife.
Made it a new kydex home this morning, it fits in the old sheaths but I just had to have one molded to the new blade contours LOL

FYI, the coyote kydex looks the best against the OD Green knife, IMO.

I put a sheath on it today, pics when I can. ''collector's items''??? Good gawd I hope not! I build 'em to be used....I would feel bad about one languishing away under glass LOL


This grinding on knives is addictive, I think the 1095 dust is like Crack! LOL I keep wanting to grind more the more I grind...

I agree :D...Wouldnt compare it to crack but its sure as hell fun to make something into a 1 of a kind piece.

When you (or whomever) opened up the lanyard hole, did you do it with the scales mounted to the tang?
