The color on those changes depending on the angle..Sometimes you see a bluish color,..sometimes it's green. Reflectivity of light bouncing off of the scales.

The family keeps growing. Just got my Spalted Beech Small 21. Beautiful piece. It is quite a bit smaller then I expected. Time to carry it, I think it will be fine because I wanted it just for a smaller weekend Knife anyways.
