Just Lost Another CR Knife, am I the only one?

I once drunkenly lost my first Sebenza in a snowbank after bar close. Couldn't find it that night, nor the next morning. Waited until the snow melted a few weeks later and found it lying in a bush. It was one of the most magical moments of my life.

Hope yours turns up somewhere. 😀

The only knife I have ever lost was a BG42 Sebenza. After thinking about where it went, all I could figure is that the seatbelt in a rental car snagged the clip and it slipped between the seat and center console. I hope someone found it and put it to use, but it is probably still under the seat and the car is sitting in a junkyard.

I have never lost any knives, but I adopted a "clip into the pocket when not in hand" procedure to prevent just such an unfortunate incident. It also prevents unauthorized use by persons in your vacinity. Yes, you'll be handling it more but that's better than not having it to handle.

This is a good idea. I used my Mnandi at a party to open up an ice bag. I set it down, and when I went to pick it up it was gone. I looked over and my friend was using it as an ice pick.

I lost a Spyderco Hunter, probably in the early 1990's. If you want to look for it, it is somewhere in the bushes not too far from the base of Bridal Veil Falls near Telluride, CO.

Not a CR, but I lost a custom fixed blade. While hunting, nature called, and I was too focused on relieving myself. I didnt realize I threw it in the weeds undoing my belt in a hurry. Luckily my father found it, on a walk, after the snow melted. The walnut scales are beat and the 1095 didn't like the weather... Hope you find it!

My first Damascus Sebbie, a plain Raindrop Sm. Reg. Lost it on a dayhike. Oh how I loved that knife. Have bought quite a few Damascus & unique Sebbies since. So I got over it, and moved on, that's life!
