Just made it back from the ER........

Glad to hear she's ok, kids are a gift. It took me a while to figure out what the cause was after 4 kids :)

Now she can get everyone to sign her cast......do kids still do that or just text instead?
 
Bummer!! Glad she handled it well. Wish we could sign her cast... Just grind her a left handed version as a matching set.. OR, you could make her a cool attachment like Daryl's brother from The walking Dead... Nothing says fun at Christmas like blades mounted on casts!

Sorry to hear about your daughter's injury...........sounds like she is handling it pretty well. Its always tough on the parents because it is hard to see them in pain.
I broke my wrist in high school playing football. Played defensive end and had my best year with that cast. QB's loved seeing 6'6" of crazy coming at them swinging a plaster club :D
Broke the cast off three times and cracked two helmuts.

Bummer! My younger son broke his leg when he was about 1 1/2. It got twisted on a spiral slide. Took him a while to get the cast off. Stuff I never thought twice about him doing (like going down the slide at the park), now makes me worry!

Hopefully everything heals up ok for your daughter.
 
That's a little lady to be proud of.
Remember that endurance produces character, it sounds like she's off to a good start.
 
It is always horrible when one you love is hurt, particularly a child. I hope she heals quickly and painlessly.
