Just made it back from the ER........

Sorry you guys had to go through that. Glad to hear she is OK. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!:)

Oh, the dreaded call from the school nurse.
I'm glad to here she's OK and hope for no further complications.

Got some good news from the orthopedic surgeon today. He said that as of right now there does not appear to be a need for surgery to put pins in. Looks like it should heal up fine without them. Gonna have to go get xrays once a week for a few weeks to make sure everything stays in line but no surgery is great news at this point.
Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers everyone.

Glad it was nothing too serious. She must be the coolest kid in school right now with that cast.

Those Reckners are a tough people, well....most of them. Not sure what Josh's problem is :D :D

Hope she heals well and soon.

Well she does sound tough enough - so I say go ahead with the INFI infusion!

I broke my right humerus many years ago, and it wasn't the pain that convinced me I broke it...

When I flew off the mountain in April the bone in the right side of my jaw pretty much exploded. The "break" went right through a big nerve and is still dead numb. I knew my jaw was jacked because I couldn't open my mouth very much (lucky world), but I don't remember overwhelming pain. I have a high pain tolerance in the first place, but everything is child's play after kidney stones...

I think pain might be relative, the more you endure, the less it affects you. Hey, maybe there is some truth to what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
