Just one thing…

My quibble is Spyderco putting all sorts of clip mounting holes on some of their nice polished G10 models. Looking at you Vallotton! And then to put holes in the bolsters? I love the knife, but it's a head scratcher.

Yea, both of my Smith and sons D2 fixed blades have little tiny divots/pIts/holes which I gave the biggest eye roll known to man to
But I'm going to use them up until they literally break.

As a lefty, my “just one thing” is knives without reversible pocket clips. I have passed on several fantastic knives that I really liked because they weren’t Southpaw Friendly.

I love Buck 110’s, but despise the nail nick. For years they made the 112 with no nick, but the 110 always had a nick. Except for a few special limited runs.

Benchmade Rukus II - it's black
Benchmade AFO II - 154CM
Any of several Bugouts - pocket clip is too short
Spyderco Manix 2 - almost impossible to close
SOG Flash AT - almost impossible to open
Bradford Guardian 3 and Several Buck knives with sheaths - impossible to get my belt through the belt loop

I could go on ...

Price for 154cm why you hate the AFO ? Most of Benchmade's auto's all have older steel for some reason.

I took the clip off the Umnumzaan I just received yesterday. I don't care that I haven't bothered to find one of my old Sebenza tabs to cover the screw hole and clip mounting pocket.

I actually don't even think it looks bad. I'm sure years ago it would have irked me.

C'est la vie.

I do not hate the AFO II. I have one and I use it. It just needs sharpening way to often.

There are several current Benchmade autos with good steel, such as the Mediator with S90V, I think?

I am hoping for an AFO III with Magnacut for under $500.

Yeah they're upgrading, funny still seeing OTF's they sell in D2 for 400+ though.

The knife issue that bothers me the most is the blade to handle ratio on the CS 4 Max Scout. With a 6" handle, it should have at least a 5" blade. It doesn't stop me from carrying it though.

Great all around steel but not for 400+ not anymore anyway.
I'd buy a fixed blade from tops or esee in D2 for around that price, because I know it would be done right and heat treated professionally
Just me though. But I'll agree it's pricy, then again BM prices see questionable, not to change direction of thread. A cpm d2 fixed blade drop point knife for 400 from a reputable company will definitely get my attention.
Then I'd have to sell 2 knives to make the purchase hurt less

Oh! And the Demko 20.5, I want one, but the pocket clip is so unattractive to me.
