Just ordered A TAK

I have a TAK-1 in D2. Great knife. Horrible sheath. I immediately got a On-Scene Kydex sheath made for the TAK-1. The company I bought the knife from warned me and sold me the kydex sheath with the knife. I am so glad I got it. I think I got it from KnifeCenter?

:thumbup: I am with you on the TAK sheath, after the Colorado trip and if funds allow , I will be ordering a sheath from "on-scene" The sheath is ok but any hard work or multiple trips outdoors may reek havoc on the factory sheath,so kydek sheaths are the way to go and have a firesteel added when you have it made , I know I will

Hey what happened to the "other" sheath that came with the TAK ??? Mine is about 3 years old and looks like a Spec Ops. I think it's Molle style.

mine has the same sheath but i just wanna update it and have the original sheath and a kydex sheath for field use. yes they are molle style and are pretty decent but I like the kydex, I'll just put the factory sheath in the factory box and store it and if the kydex sheath ever fails I'll have the original to fall back on...just having 1ea. made for my TAK & RAT-7 w/firesteel loops.
