Just pix of knives

two blades - I just got a belt grinder and know nothing about making knives (as can be seen by the XHP test blade earlier here). All of the blades have turned out OK, but they're all just thin slicers and will have an easy life.

I need to learn more about handles before making more knives and just stuffing blocks of wood over their tangs, though.

The far blade is 1084, the near one is white 2 with probably a mild steel clad on the sides (not easy to get it to be attractive the same way wrought iron can easily be manipulated).

The chisel is one I forged/shaped out of an older file and then shrunk a bolster onto (final shape and finish of the whole thing is just hand filed, no grinding), and then turned a handle for. Not a knife, but making chisels gave me the idea that I could probably make some knives, too.

I like hard and thin, so all three are that vs. the universe of reasonable options. Hard, thin and little cut resistance is the nectar of the lazy (me).

Eek, pictures show you things you can't see as well in person - more work needed on the bevel of the japanese blade for cosmetics once it's tempered down a little further.

The leather compliments this pair of Owyhee 3.5” hunter/EDC blades quite nicely don’t ya think?

The leather is outstanding, a work of art just by themselves. But together it almost appears that the knives were built to compliment the leather.

Way too often the sheath almost seems like an afterthought, with no end usage or even thought placed into it, just a cheap holding plastic, nylon, or leather sheath that is ugly and virtually useless.

Yours however not only compliment each other, they are the complete package and belong together. Simply outstanding (amazing) my friend, well done!
